HISTORY
1823
The KAUFFMANN family establishes a wholesale grocery in Stuttgart. A poultry farm is added later on, and with it the processing of down.
1885
Gebrüder Sanders (the Sanders brothers) found their textile company.
1896
The first duvet factory is established in Langenargen, Lake Constance (Germany).
1921
The Johannes KAUFFMANN duvet factory is constructed in Bregenz (Austria).
1964
Building of a new duvet factory in Bregenz (Austria).
1992
A new raw material warehouse and a new open-plan sewing room are constructed in Langenargen (Germany). Factory II and factory III are redeveloped.
2001
The two production plants are merged. Construction of the most modern duvet plant in Europe, Hörbranz on Lake Constance (Austria).
2007
The company changes its name to Sleepwell KAUFFMANN GmbH.
2014
Our company is represented in over 40 countries, and by using first-class down, we provide the highest quality that is in demand internationally.
2017
Incorporation and re-naming of the company as Sanders.eu GmbH. A German traditional company for fabric and bedding production.
